Police teams feted for good work

State director general of police (DIG) Sulkhan Singh said on Tuesday the state police would work out the sensational crime cases in various districts soon.

Singh felicitated the police team, which nabbed the criminals involved in the loot and murder at a jeweller’s shop in Mathura.

The cops who rescued a businessman Sanjay Mittal from the clutches of kidnappers within five hours in Firozabad district were also felicitated.

Recently, chief minister Yogi Adityanath had announced that police officers who work out crime cases speedily will be rewarded and the erring ones will be punished.

Later, addressing a press conference, Sulkhan Singh said the superintendents of police of Lucknow as well as other districts had been directed to work out sensational crime cases in their respective districts.
