Bengaluru cop attempts suicide; poisons wife, 2 kids

A police constable was battling for life on Tuesday after attempting to commit suicide by consuming poisoned food along with his wife and two children, which turned fatal for them, police said. “City Armed Reserve (CAR) constable S Subhash Chandra, 35, is in a critical condition at a private hospital, while his wife Veena, 28, daughter Manya, 3, and 18-monthold son Prithvi were found dead at his house in the city’s northeast suburb,” deputy commissioner of police PS Harsha said.
