Adarsh fashions CLCC’s win with a hat-trick

Left-arm orthodox bowler Adarsh Shukla took six wickets, including a hat-trick as Champions League Cricket Club (CLCC) scored a convincing 52-run win against Kalpana Sports in a league match of the 1st Sri Ram Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday.

Kalpana Sports were cruising ahead with 48 for no loss in 11 overs while chasing 160 to win in 35 overs when Adarsh was introduced from the far end of the Northern Railway Stadium.

Things began happening all of a sudden and he had Himanshu Mishra (0), Sanket Maurya (0) and Pankaj Shah (0) on the last three deliveries of his over. Thereafter, he had opener Advitya Dubey (23), Prasant Tewari (4) and Gopesh Singh Chauhan (4) in quick succession to finish with a magical figure of 7-1-12-6. Kalpana Sports collapsed for 107 in 32.3 overs.

Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Drona Cricket Academy defeated Divine Cricket Club by five wickets, at the Microlit Gymkhana Ground.
