ASCA ‘Red’ in Yorker Trophy final with big win
LUCKNOW: An all-round performance by Priyavarat Pandey (3 wkts, 55*) helped Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) ‘Red’ score a thumping eight-wicket win against Aryavrat Cricket Academy (ACA) to make it to the final of the Under-14 Yorker Trophy Cricket Tournament, at the Multi Activity ground here on Friday.
Priyavarat took three for 29 as ACA got out for 169 in 33.2 overs while batting first after winning the toss. In reply, ASCA ‘Red’ romped home in 29.1 overs, losing just two wickets. Priyavarat struck unbeaten 55 in 71 balls with the help of four boundaries and a six, whereas Lalit Kumar also made unbeaten 69, which came off 47 balls with the help of four fours and six sixes.
