Metro stations from Transport Nagar to Charbagh (right) have been constructed by Systra consultants who have expertise in designing the metro stations across the world. They have designed the stations keeping in mind the culture and architecture of the city. Singar Nagar, Charbagh, Alambagh Bus Stand metro station are under watch of CCTV cams. Announcement system has been installed at each metro station. Smart card dispensing and detecting machines are placed at the entrance. All the stations have been designed according to fourcoach standard gauge train platforms. The platforms would be of 140 meters in length, while concourse would be of 85 meters. The breadth of station would depend on the width of road available on each side of the median as the metro line is based in median of the road. All these stations have some commercial counters , shops, to sustain the revenue model so that the cost of maintenance is recovered from them only.
