AI flights from Lucknow to more cities from July 5

Come July 5, Lucknow will get connected to Jaipur, Bhopal, Dehradun by air.

In an aggressive move to tap the air traffic in un explored sectors, Air India has decided to operate 72 seat small passenger aircraft with moderate fares ranging between ₹2200 to ₹2800 between these cities.

These flights have got approval of director-general of civil aviation (DGCA) and the Airport Authority of India (AAI), said a source.

Station incharge of Air India, Lucknow, Shakeel Ahmed said, “The flight from Jaipur to Lucknow will arrive at 7.30 am and will depart for Jaipur at 4.25 pm. The fares for Jaipur from Lucknow is between ₹ 2300 to ₹2510 while flight to Lucknow will range between ₹2200 to ₹2298. The flight will reach Jaipur at 6.10 pm.”

“The flight for Dehradun will leave at 8 am and reach Dehradun at 9.30 am. It will return at 11.25 am . The fares from Lucknow to Dehradun are between ₹ 2500 to 2771. The return fare is cheaper between ₹2300 to 2372,” he said.

Similarly, the flight to Bhopaal from Lucknow will leave at 11.50 am and will reach at 1.45 pm.

It will return from Bhopal at 3.55 pm. Fares from Lucknow to Bhopal are fixed between ₹ 2600 to 2721 while from Bhopal the fares will be ₹2372 to ₹ 2400.

If successful, flights for Patna, Bhubaneshw­ar, Panaji, Cochi, Vizag, Chennai, Chandigarh too would be launched.
