Four new cases of braid cutting

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Four fresh cases of women’s hair being mysteriously cut while they were asleep or unconscious surfaced in different parts of the district.

A pregnant woman Sakshi, 25, wife of one Deepak in Tigaai village, suddenly fell unconscious when her mother-in-law went inside the room for some work.

When she regained senses, she found her braid chopped off by some unknown persons.

The fear-stricken pregnant woman was admitted to a private hospital in Khatauli area following some health problem.

In another incident in Sharafat colony of Khatauli area, one Shabnam, 15, daughter of Shabana was in her house while her mother was also sitting in the courtyard at some distance.

Shabnam suddenly felt severe pain in her head and fell unconscious.

When she got up after a very short time, she found her braid chopped off in a very mysterious way.

Meanwhile, in Kakrauli town area, one Shahin, wife of Naushad, was washing clothes in a washing machine around 11.30 am when she noticed a shadow of a person in the house.

She shouted and fell unconscious while her mother-in-law, Kishwari reached there and found her braid lying on the ground. Anil Singh, Station officer, Bhopa arrived on the spot and started investigation.

In a separate incident in Kakrala village on Monday night, one Sajid found the braid of his wife Sonam lying on the ground. They could not trace who chopped off the hair.
