Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz begins in Kerala

LUCKNOW : The Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2017 brings its 14th edition, that started on Friday at Thiruvanan­thapuram, Kerala. This year, the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz format is based on the concept of ‘Real Time Strategy’ with an aim to create a simulation of the fast-paced environmen­t, we all operate in. The format will revolve around contempora­ry gaming concepts and an invigorati­ng set of rounds with decision making and strategy being the key to win the coveted title. To be held across 25 cities in India, the quiz invites participan­ts from Tata and non-Tata companies (in teams of two each from same organisati­on) to compete in the regional rounds. The winning team from each regional round qualifies for the four zonal rounds, and the top two winning teams from each zonal round will compete in the national finals scheduled to be held in October 2017 in Mumbai, said Atul Agrawal, senior vice president, Corporate Affairs, Tata Services. The national winning team will be awarded a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, along with the Tata Crucible Trophy. The regional winners and runners-up will win the cash prizes of ₹75,000 and ₹35,000 respective­ly. The prizes for this year’s edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz are co-supported by Tata Motors and Tata Global Beverages. ‘Pickbrain’ Giri Balasubram­aniam, ace quizmaster known for his sharp one-liners and humour, will continue to conduct the quiz in this exciting edition.
