LUCKNOW: A 21-year-old Unnao college girl was allegedly gang raped by two youths in a car on Saturday. The girl alleged the youths abducted her from an area near her house situated in a village at Mohanlalganj and gave her some sedative after which they raped her.

The girl’s family has lodged an FIR of gangrape, abduction and blackmailing against two unidentified youths at Mohanlalganj police station on Sunday morning. The girl is second year graduation student from an Unnao degree college. She has been sent for medical examination. The girl told the cops that she had been receiving threat messages and calls on her mobile from an unidentified number since last few days. She said the caller threatened to post some objectionable pictures of her sister on social media and asked her to meet him at a secluded place outside her village.

When she reached the spot, the girl alleged that the caller and his aide forcibly pulled her inside a car. She said the duo made her unconscious by giving sedative and raped her multiple times. The duo then threatened her with dire consequences if she complained to the police and left her on a deserted stretch of road near her village.

Meanwhile, inspector of Mohanlalganj police station, DP Kuswaha said the girl had been missing since Saturday afternoon and returned home on Sunday morning. He said the girl’s family turned up before the police on Sunday after she returned and narrated a sequence of events.

The inspector said the girl has been sent for medical examination . He said preliminary probe suggested the caller must be familiar to the girl but she was not revealing their identities due to fear or any other reason.
