No age bar for Combined Pre-Ayush Test

LUCKNOW: Now candidates above 25 years age can also apply for the Combined Pre-Ayush Test2017 (CPAT-2017). There will be no upper age bar as the state government has removed the age restrictio­ns.

Earlier, general and OBC candidates between 17 years and 25 years of age were eligible for applying. A relaxation of 5 years was given to SC/ST candidates.

The Lucknow University has been given the responsibi­lity to conduct the CPAT-2017 by the state government. The online applicatio­n form for CPAT-2017 is available on the website www.lkouniv.ac.in and www.cpatup2017.in since September 12.

The cost of the form is Rs 2000 for general and OBC applicants while the SC and ST applicants will pay Rs 1000. The fee can be paid through net banking, debit and credit cards only.

The last date for registrati­on and fee submission will be September 25, 2017.

The entrance test is proposed to be held on October 4, 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm in four cities: Agra, Bareilly, Lucknow and Gorakhpur. There shall be negative marking in the written test.

For filling the applicatio­n form, the candidates are required to have the Aadhar Card, valid email ID, active mobile number, scanned copy of passport size photo, scanned signature and right thumb impression.

They are required to check the entries at each step before final submission of applicatio­n form. The candidates have to print their complete applicatio­n form and fee receipt.

Applicants have to retain a printout of their applicatio­n form which would be needed later on. Applicants do not have to send the print out of the applicatio­n form to the university by post.
