Girl dies after being pushed off school bldg

GORAKHPUR: A class 9 student died on the way to hospital after an unidentified person allegedly pushed her off the third floor of a school building in Deoria on Monday . The incident occurred when Neetu Chauhan, student of Modern City Montessori School went to the third floor to use the toilet there.

GORAKHPUR: A class 9 student died on the way to hospital after an unidentified person allegedly pushed her off the third floor of a school building in Deoria on Monday .

The incident occurred when Neetu Chauhan, student of Modern City Montessori School ,Nehru Nagar, Deoria, went to the third floor to use the toilet there.

Some school teachers and the principal were on the run after the incident. The police are trying to locate them.

The girl’s father Param Hans Chauhan said: “I received a call from the school authorities who informed me that my daughter had suffered some injuries .They asked me to reach the district hospital. When I reached there, she was referred to the medical college .On the way, she told me that somebody had pushed her off the building.”

Police have lodged a case under Section 302 against unidentified people on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s father

Superintendent of police Rajeev Malhotra said: “We have opened an investigation in the case. A hunt is on for the missing school teachers and principal.”
