LUCKNOW: Alert administration of Study Hall here averted a possible untoward incident by sensing danger outside the boundary wall and taking appropriate steps on Monday.

At around 11.20 am, when students were coming out after taking their examinations (from Class 8 to 11) on the school campus in Gomti Nagar, 60-70 boys were seen standing near the boundary wall in groups. Sensing trouble, the school administration restricted movement of the students.

“Every day we do recce before allowing students to go out of the campus and today also we did the same and found 60-70 boys standing outside in groups,” said Shalini Sinha, principal of the school. “As we apprehended they might be up to some mischief, we decided on a safe passage of our students and also to alert police as these boys are not seen here regularly.” The teachers came out to confirm and they found the boys standing in groups. The school authorities ensured the Study Hall students also moved out in groups and reached their school buses/vans without hindrance. “Those who go back home on bicycles were told to leave the school in groups,” said Shalini. Watching this, the boys outside started moving away and by the time the cops came they had all left the place. “We asked the cops to check on the boys and ensure they do not cause any trouble,” said Shalini.

THE SCHOOL AUTHORITIES ENSURED THE STUDENTS MOVED OUT IN GROUPS AND REACHED THEIR VANS WITHOUT HINDRANCE.
