KASHI VISIT Modi will also dedicate a TFC to people
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Varanasi-Vadodara Mahamana Express and dedicate a trade facilitation centre (TFC) to the people during his visit to Varanasi on September 22. The PM will land at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport at 2.45 pm and reach TFC and crafts museum in Bada Lalpur at 3.30 pm to dedicate it to the people.
After laying the foundation of TFC and crafts museum on November 7, 2014, Modi had said the centre would encapsulate the heritage of Varanasi.
The trade facility centre building has come up at an estimated cost of around Rs 212 crore.
The Mahamana Express will directly connect PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency with Vadodara in his native state Gujarat. He will also flag off a ‘jal ambulance’ which will help people living along the Ganga in case of an emergency.
The PM will also address a gathering at the venue and will stay there for over an hour.
Later, he will reach DLW guest house where he will hold a dialogue with BJP workers between 5.40 pm and 6.30 pm. The PM will also release a postage stamp on Ramayana at Tulsi Manas Mandir. Modi will also visit Durga Mata Temple at Durga Kund and after offering prayers to Goddess Durga, he will return to DLW guest house where he will stay overnight.
On Sept 23, Modi will participate in a cleanliness event at Shahanshahpur. He will inaugurate Pashu Arogya Mela and distribute certificates to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana (rural and urban). He will address a public rally for about an hour and will fly back to Delhi at 12.05 pm.
