SHAH PRAISES YOGI GOVT FOR ENDING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
SITAPUR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah on Tuesday praised the Yogi Adityanath government in the state for “putting an end” to criminal activity and corruption through initiatives like e-tendering.
He said farmers were getting maximum benefits as proper remuneration for their crops goes directly in their bank accounts, he added.
He was speaking to reporters after laying the foundation stone of over 50 district party offices at a function here.
Adityanath and state party chief Mahendra Nath Pandey were present on the occasion.
Shah said construction of BJP offices had been started in 85% districts of the state and by 2019 the party would have a presence in all 75 districts.
He also said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had left his Amethi constituency in “crisis” and was visiting Gujarat ahead of the assembly elections in the state.
“Power is for service not enjoyment,” Shah said when asked about Gandhi’s trip to the poll-bound state.
