30 MORE CASES OF DENGUE REPORTED IN UP

LUCKNOW: Around 30 fresh cases of dengue have been reported in the state, taking the total to 1,682. In Lucknow, six fresh cases have been reported.

There has been considerable rise in the number of dengue cases in the past one week.

Till now 23 people have died of dengue in the state. Two cases of swine flu were also reported in Lucknow on Thursday.

“Dengue mosquito breeds in clean water in our homes hence we should be taking utmost precaution to make sure there is no stagnated water in flower pots, coolers or empty and unused items in balcony or roof top,” said Dr Sandeep Kapoor, director Health City Hospital.

He said that while moving outdoor one should wear full sleeves clothes and avoid places where there could be mosquitoes.
