Contractor shot dead

VARANASI: A contractor was shot dead near Vidya Vihar colony under Sigra police station, Varanasi late on Wednesday night. Unidentified assailants pumped seven bullets into the body of Vishal Singh, 38, who died on the spot, police said. Senior police officials said teams have been deployed to work out the case.
