MANIPUR BOMB ATTACK: 2 JAWANS KILLED, 6 INJURED
IMPHAL: Two Assam Rifles personnel were killed and six injured when suspected militants detonated a bomb in Manipur’s Chandel district, bordering Myanmar, on Monday. Sources said the incident occurred while the 18 Assam Rifles personnel were passing through Mahamani village road, around 65km south of Imphal, at 6.20am. While one jawan died immediately, the other succumbed to his injuries later. Nobody has taken responsibility for the blast until now.
