Man speaks about ‘happy bomb’ on flight, detained

KOCHI: A man on Monday was taken into custody after he was overheard talking about a “happy bomb” by a worker of Jet Airways at the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) here, an airport official said. A Jet Airways worker overheard Clince Varghese from Thrissur saying he had a “happy bomb”. The ground staff told supervisory officers who informed the CISF and domestic terminal manager. Varghese was offloaded and his baggage was checked. He was later handed over to police.
