Lankan boat found off Rameswaram coast

RAMESWARAM: A Sri Lankan boat was found abandoned at Othathalai coastal hamlet near this island town on Monday. The 16-feet boat from Thalaimannar in Sri Lanka was found without an engine. The incident comes two days after Marine Police ADGP Vanniyaperumal inspected security arrangements. Police suspect four to five persons could have arrived by ferry.
