PHD CHAMBERS APPOINTS THREE COCHAIRMEN OF ITS UP CHAPTER

LUCKNOW: The PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has appointed a chairman and three co-chairmen for the body’s Uttar Pradesh chapter.

The PHDCCI is a prestigiou­s body of industrial­ists that also advises the government on issues related with the industry.

President of PHD Chambers Anil Khaitan informed that for the UP chapter, Lalit Khaitan would be the chairman.

Industrial­ists Gaurav Prakash, Ranjeet Chaturvedi and Mukesh Bahadur Singh have been appointed as co-chairmen.

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a pan-India apex body of businessme­n and industrial­ists. It plays an important role in formulatin­g industry -related policies of the UP government. “We are willing to extend all support to the state government in fulfilling its objective of attracting investment to the state,” said Gaurav Prakash.

The Yogi government is going all out to woo investors, both foreign and Indian, in the state.

On Friday, Microsoft founder Bill Gates met chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Recently, a high –level delegation of several countries came to UP and met the chief minister to explore investment avenues in the state. Last month, a delegation from Finland came to Lucknow and met the chief minister.

A Japanese delegation also came to Lucknow few months ago exploring investment opportunit­ies in Uttar Pradesh.
