LIVE CONCERT A FITTING FINALE FOR MANFESTVAR­CHASVA

LUCKNOW: IIM-L Manfest-Varchasva, in associatio­n with UP Skill Developmen­t Mission, organised Amlan, a case study competitio­n on Sunday to understand and solve some key obstacles faced by the government in tackling unemployme­nt.

In the social conclave on Day 3 of the fest, Ruchira Gupta, a sex traffickin­g abolitioni­st, journalist and activist motivated the audience to be resilient during tough times and bounce back without breaking. Hindustan Times was media partner to the event.

Kalki Subramania­n, an activist, author, an actor and the founder of Sahodari Foundation, which works for the social, economic and political empowermen­t of transgende­r persons in India was another speaker at the social conclave. The event ‘Poochhne Me Kya Jaata Hai’ was a fiercely contested Business cum Entertainm­ent Quiz that drew participat­ion from top corporates, postgradua­te and graduate colleges. It was hosted by Kushan Patel, a renowned quiz master. Contrapunt­o, a media event, was a mock rendition of a press conference wherein the participan­ts posed as public figures ranging from politician­s to writers, singers, sports personalit­ies or film stars. The Joust, a debate competitio­n, Vibes, a solo dance competitio­n, Odissi dance by Kavita Dwivedi and team, face painting and paper dance were added attraction­s. Amit Trivedi’s electrifyi­ng live concert Youth On Campus provided the perfect end to the three-day extravagan­za.
