LUCKNOW: IIM-L Manfest-Varchasva, in association with UP Skill Development Mission, organised Amlan, a case study competition on Sunday to understand and solve some key obstacles faced by the government in tackling unemployment.
In the social conclave on Day 3 of the fest, Ruchira Gupta, a sex trafficking abolitionist, journalist and activist motivated the audience to be resilient during tough times and bounce back without breaking. Hindustan Times was media partner to the event.
Kalki Subramanian, an activist, author, an actor and the founder of Sahodari Foundation, which works for the social, economic and political empowerment of transgender persons in India was another speaker at the social conclave. The event ‘Poochhne Me Kya Jaata Hai’ was a fiercely contested Business cum Entertainment Quiz that drew participation from top corporates, postgraduate and graduate colleges. It was hosted by Kushan Patel, a renowned quiz master. Contrapunto, a media event, was a mock rendition of a press conference wherein the participants posed as public figures ranging from politicians to writers, singers, sports personalities or film stars. The Joust, a debate competition, Vibes, a solo dance competition, Odissi dance by Kavita Dwivedi and team, face painting and paper dance were added attractions. Amit Trivedi’s electrifying live concert Youth On Campus provided the perfect end to the three-day extravaganza.
