LUCKNOW: A 32-year-old woman, mother of three kids, allegedly got her husband murdered to live with her paramour . The police arrested the woman, her paramour and his associate for the murder from different places in Madiaon on Sunday.

The body of Ram Chandra Kashyap, 35, was found lying near a liquor shop in Madiaon’s Tadikhana locality on November 28. His brother Lalta Prasad Kashyap had identified him on November 29.

Inspector of Madiaon police station, Raghvan Kumar Singh said police initially believed that the victim died due to excessive consumption of liquor but the post-mortem examination report revealed that he was strangled to death.

The deceased’s brother Lalta Prasad had registered an FIR of murder against unidentified people but voiced suspicion about the deceased’s wife Rinki Kashyap.

He said detailed probe and scanning of mobile call details of the woman revealed that she was in continuous touch with her paramour Brijesh Kumar Verma.

He said the police gradually learnt during investigation that Rinki got her husband murdered with the help of Verma.

Singh said Verma spilled the beans during interrogation, saying that on the night of November 27, he and his friend Ajay Rawat called Ram Chandra for a liquor party when he was returning home from a grocery store where he worked .

He said he and Rawat strangled Ram Chandra to death after making him heavily drunk.

“Verma said Rinki asked him to murder Ram Chandra as she wanted to live with him,” said the inspector. He said even in the past Rinki had deserted Ram Chandra and started living with Verma, leaving her three children, aged between 7 and 12 years.

He said Rinki had plans to secretly elope with Verma along with all her belongings.
