UP SCHOOLKIDS TO TAKE PART IN GITA MUSICAL COMPETITION
LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government is organising a singing competition based on ‘Bhagavad Gita’ in all the schools of Uttar Pradesh. The best 10 singers/troupes will be felicitated by Adityanath at a state level function to be held on December 29-30. Every division is required to select 10 singers, who will compete at the state level function. The competition will be based on Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak’s classic and well-known work “Srimad Bhagavad Gita Rahasya.
LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government is organising a singing competition based on 'Bhagavad Gita' in all the schools of Uttar Pradesh.
The best 10 singers/ troupes will be felicitated by Adityanath at a state level function to be held on December 29-30. Every division is required to select 10 singers, who will compete at the state level function.
“The competition will be based on Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak's classic and well-known work "Srimad Bhagavad Gita Rahasya,” reads a directive issued by Awadh Naresh Sharma, director secondary education.
All district inspector of schools have been asked to hold the preparation and short list the district level team between December 11 to 15 and conduct the district level competition on December 15. Students from all boards including government, aided and private schools can take part in this competition, reads a directive issued by joint director secondary education Suresh Kumar Tewari.
During the contest, the jury will judge the winners on the basis of their pronunciation.
