AITA qualifying round: Local boy Shobhit struggles before crossing first hurdle in style
LUCKNOW: It was a tough journey for local boy Shobhit Tandon in the first qualifying round of the AITA Tennis Tournament, at the SDS Academy here as he staged a remarkable comeback from 2-6 down to level at 7-7 and win against Pranjual Maurya 8-7 (6) here on Saturday. Tandon kept his cool and a lucky net cord sealed the tiebreak.

Young Abhyansh Singh will Uttar Pradesh is the Junior National Badminton Championship, starting December 12 at Guwahati (Assam). The team was announced on Saturday, following their 15-day camp.

Speed Cricket Club stormed into the final of the Lucknow Premier League Cricket Tournament, defeating BJS Club by 11 runs, at the Vikas Nagar stadium here on Saturday. Earlier in the quarterfinals, BJS Club defeated Takrohi Eleven by 21 runs.
