Following complaints of missing of voters names from the electoral rolls for civic polls in Lucknow district, state election commissioner SK Agrwal had on November 25 ordered an inquiry into the charges.
Commissioner Anil Garg then appointed a panel comprising among others, ADM, finance and revenue, to probe the complaints. On examination of the probe report, the SEC found it to be superfluous and prepared without talking to the complainants and so rejected it.
