LUCKNOW: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Yogi Adityanath government shifted 33 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers, including eight district magistrates, in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Vijay Karan Anand has been appointed the new Kumbh Mela Adhikari in Allahabad. Pulkit Khare has been made the new district magistrate of Hardoi. Prakash Bindu has been asked to take over as the Mau DM. Ravindra Kumar is the new DM of Kannauj.
Sarvagya Ram Mishra is the new Mathura DM, Shrikant Mishra the new Auraiyya DM and Amrit Tripathi the new Shahjahanpur DM.
GS Naveen Kumar has been made managing director medical supply in place of Pankaj Kumar. Rakesh Kumar has been made the new vice-chairman of the Varanasi Development Authority. Santosh Yadav has been appointed secretary in the industrial development department. Alakhnanada Dayal has been divested of her charge of Udyog Bandhu and Manoj Singh relieved of his charge of director, social welfare. Jagdish Prasad becomes the new director of the social welfare department. Devendra Pandey takes over as the new director of the State Urban Development Agench . Akash Deep becomes the new mission director of the Swachh Bharat programme.
