-

LUCKNOW:

As a Valentine’s Day gesture, Motivagers Club organised a fun-filled programme for the senior citizens on Sunday. Many elderly, who are also members of the club, took part in games and other activities held at the Sheroes Cafe in Gomti Nagar. “The aim was to reach out to isolated seniors who need care,” said Gaurav Chhabra, founder of the club. Senior citizens participated in ‘baloon balancing’, musical chairs, quiz and danced to music at the event.

The highlight of the day was the moment when the members proposed to their wives. A couple, Mr and Mrs Arora, were awarded the ‘Best Proposal Award’ while ‘Mr and Mrs Well Dressed’ award went to Mr and Mrs Srivastava, he added.

A cake-cutting ceremony was also organised to mark birthdays and marriage anniversaries of members. People from different localities of Lucknow graced the occasion.
