Kidney theft case: Court clean chit for minister’s husband
DEHRADUN: Three months after a man filed a case of kidney pilferage against Girdhari Lal Sahu, husband of state women empowerment minister Rekha Arya, the police have given him a “clean chit”. Investigations against, Sahu, who was accused by Naresh Gangwar, a resident Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, have been closed with a Nainital court saying that there was no merit in the application of the complainant seeking that a case be filed against Sahu, said investigating officer KR Pandey.
“The Nanital district additional chief judicial magistrate’s court has cancelled the application of Naresh Gangwa. Following the court’s observations, investigations in the case have been closed,” he said.
