CBSE Class 12 physics paper ‘too tricky’, say students

LUCKNOW: Unlike the CBSE’s Class 12 English paper, the physics paper scheduled on Wednesday was not as easy for a majority of students.

They found the question paper ‘very tricky’ and lamented that there should have been more gap between English and physics exam.

Barring a few, almost all students found the physics paper a hard nut to crack. “It was a bad day for us. The paper was too tricky to handle,” said Mahima Rai, a student of Awadh Collegiate in Daroga Kheda.

the students couldn’t attempt all the questions.

“The 5 marks section, which is generally short and scoring, was too lengthy this time and the 3 marks section was equally time consuming,” said Rai.

Another student Mansha Khan echoed the same and said, “The paper was quite tough and some questions were out of syllabus as well.”

Blaming the examinatio­n date sheet, some students said they could not get enough time to revise as there was only one day’s gap between English and physics exam.

“There was only one day’s gap between English and physics exam which is absolutely illogical. We couldn’t revise the entire syllabus properly which resulted into a bad performanc­e,” a student said.

Some teachers, who didn’t wish to be quoted, too opined the same and said the paper was quite tricky and the revision time was less.
