Madiaon murder case: Two more accused arrested

LUCKNOW: The city police on Wednesday arrested two more accused, Suraj and Bajrangi for the murder of 27-year-old youth Ankur Saxena in Madiaon area here .

Earlier, the main accused Nawaz was arrested and a 32 bore pistol used in the crime was also recovered from his possession.

Saxena was shot dead after a brawl with the main accused during a tilak ceremony in Madiaon’s Preeti Nagar locality on Sunday night.

He had come from Bareilly to attend his friend’s tilak ceremony.

the murder.

He said Suraj and Bajrangi were arrested near Puraniya bridge when they were planning to go to a city court to move surrender applications.

He said an illegal pistol was also recovered from their possession.

The inspector said the main accused Nawaz was earlier arrested from Keshav Nagar turn when he had come to meet his friend with an intent to get legal help from him.

After the murder, the deceased’s uncle Ramesh Saxena had lodged FIR against the trio.
