LUCKNOW: An all-round performanc­e by Yash Chaudhary (46* runs, 2 wkts) helped Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) enter semi-finals of the 2nd Shivpal Sawariya Memorial Twenty20 Challenger Cup cricket tournament, registerin­g a thrilling twowicket win against Tariq Cricket Club (TCC), at the Pt Raas Bihari Tewari stadium here on Tuesday. TCC could score 109/3 in 20 overs after being sent to bat first. In reply, ASCA reached home with two balls to spare. NCR IN KNOCKOUT

LKO IN FINAL

Favourites Lucknow defeated Azamgarh by 3-1 to make it to the final of the state under-16 boys football tournament at Baihraich on Tuesday.

Sahil drew the first blood in the 15th minute (1-0), whereas Shadab (55th) and Anant (70th) struck the remaining two goals. For Azamgarh, Ankur struck the consolatio­n goal in the 40th minute.
