IIML invites applications for certificate prog in business analytics

LUCKNOW: The IIM-Lucknow (IIM-L) has announced its 9th batch of the one-year part-time Certificate Programme in Business Analytics for Executives (CPBAE), in association with the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA. Candidates can now apply for the programme on IIM-L’s website www.iiml.ac.in .

The programme, which will begin around June-July this year, ensures that the participants develop an analytical mindset and also trains them to explore and tap business opportunities using business analytics tools. The programme involves both ‘on-campus’ and ‘online’ learning channels.

It offers an in-depth coverage of contemporary analytics tools like, predictive analytics, visual analytics, data mining, time series analytics and others. CPBAE consists of 240 hours of teaching divided into 5 modules.

Each module at IIM-L consists of 8 days, starting from Saturday afternoon and ending in the forenoon of next Saturday. Online delivery will be done twice a week on Wednesday and Saturdays. First, third and fifth modules will be conducted ‘on-campus’ and the second and fourth modules will be delivered ‘online’.

Applicants should have 50% marks in their graduation/ PG (or CGPA of 5 on a 10-point scale) or CA/ICWA/CS. They should also have a minimum of 3-year full-time post qualification professional experience.
