8 DMS AMONG 35 IAS OFFICERS SHIFTED IN MAJOR ADMIN REVAMP
LUCKNOW: In the second major administrative revamp within a month, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 35 IAS officers, including eight district magistrates and two additional chief secretaries, on Thursday. While Chanchal Kumar Tiwari has been made additional chief secretary (revenue), Rajendra Tiwari becomes additional chief secretary (panchayati raj). District magistrates of Kushinagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur and Mirzapur have also been shifted.

Suresh Chandra is the new principal secretary, labour department, and SK Ojha is the new commissioner of Devipatan. District magistrates of Kushinagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur and Mirzapur have also been shifted.
On March 17, the state government had transferred 37 IAS officers including 16 district magistrates. Director information, Anuj Jha, has been asked to take over as DM Bulandshahr. Ujjawal Kumar is the new director information.
Vivek has been made the new DM of Sultanpur replacing Sangita Singh who becomes special secretary, labour.
Likewise, Udai Bhan Tripathi has been asked to take over from Akhilesh Tiwari as DM Barabanki. Tiwari has been made special secretary, home. Anurag Patel is the new district magistrate of Mirzapur replacing Vimal Dubey who goes to cooperative sugar mills as MD.
Dr Anil Kumar Singh becomes DM Kushinagar while Aditi Singh is the new DM of Hapur. Bhupendra Chaudhary will take over as DM Sant Kabir Nagar and Suresh Kumar becomes DM Ambedkar Nagar.
Markandey Shahi becomes special secretary (home). S Rajlingam has been asked to take over as mission director, rural livelihood.
Amit Bansak has been made vice chairman of Gorakhpur Development Authority. Sharad Kumar Singh takes over as secretary, sports, Shiv Prasad becomes secretary, right to information commission, Shruti Singh, special secretary irrigation department and Narendra Prasad Pandey is now special secretary, handicap welfare department.
Brahma Dev Tiwari becomes MD roadways, Avdhesh Tiwari has been appointed chief executive officer of rural roads and Rajmani Yadav is new secretary, irrigation.
Pramod Upadhyay has been made managing director of PCF in place of Ajay Chauhan, who would, however, continue to hold the charge of secretary, cooperatives.
Akhilesh Singh made special secretary, urban development department and Yash Rastogi, special secretary, finance. Anil Mishra has been appointed the special secretary, programme implementation department. Kushinagar district magistrate Andra Vamsi has been shifted as special secretary, electronics.
