MUZAFFARNAGAR: A 28-year-oldwoman was raped in a car by a man while his friend drove the vehicle, on Delhi-Haridwar highway, under Chappar police station, in Muzaffarnagar on Monday evening, police said.

The woman told police that the duo escaped after throwing her and her 3-year-old daughter from the moving car. While she was unconscious on the road, villagers took her kid to a nearby hospital, police said.
