Ramzan apps guiding rozedars in holy month
LUCKNOW :Special mobile applications are catching up fast among the tech-savvy rozedars during the ongoing month of Ramzan.
There are more than 1,000 free mobile applications to assist the faithful in carrying out the rituals during the holy month.
Among many such apps, ‘Ramadan 2018’ is perhaps the most preferred one. The mobile application developed by Muslim Pro Limited, claims to be the most accurate prayer time and azan application.
Besides, it also assists the rozedars get access to Quran in Arabic script, phonetics, translations as well as Qibla location. And last but not the least—it also gives information of the road map of restaurants known for serving halal meat and mosques.
Another mobile application— Ramadan Dua, is also popular. The mobile application claims to have a collection of prayers, generally offered during Ramzan.
“Do not panic if you are somewhere at work, and it’s time to offer prayer. Just install the application on your smart phone and carry on with the prayers,” reads the description of the mobile application.
“I can’t find a better app. It’s super easy to use. Nothing could be better and accurate than this. Be it about the prayer timings, sehri and iftari timings or the collection of prayers,” said Bilal Khan, a user of this mobile application. Besides, there are hundreds of mobile applications that are proving very helpful to the rozedars to carry out the rituals.
The Islamic Centre of India (ICI) here at Eidgah too launched an android-based application ‘ICI Ramzan Helpline’ to efficiently guide the people who are fasting during Ramzan. The app was launched by Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli, the chairman of the ICI, along with other dignitaries.
The app was aimed at assisting rozedars with the features like Ramzan calendar, iftar and sehri timings and also the taravi timings at some important mosques.
