NTPC, cops organise joint health camp
RAE BARELI: The Rae Bareli police and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited jointly organised a day-long free health camp at Unchahar police station on Wednesday. A large number of people visited the camp and were examined for various ailments. Superintendent of police, Rae Bareli, Sujata Singh inaugurated the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Singh said: “Aim of the health camp is to change public perception towards police and to bridge the gap between the two.”
Also present on the occasion, group general manager, NTPC, Unchahar, RK Sinha said: “We not only generate electricity but also fulfill our social responsibilities. This health camp is part of our initiative to fulfill our social responsibilities.”
Circle officer, Dalmau Vineet Singh, who conducted the camp, said: “Such events must be organised on a regular basis to help change perception of the common man towards police.”
Prominent among those present on the occasion included SDM, Unchahar.
