Elaborate arrangements for Eid namaz
ALL SET Officials told to ensure security, cleanliness LUCKNOW: With the city of nawabs all set to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr in a big way, the district administration and police have made elaborate security arrangements at all prominent mosques, including Asafi Masjid, Tile Wali Masjid and Aishbagh Eidgah .
The district administration also held a meeting with the other departments, directing them to ensure proper cleanliness in the Old City.
District magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma has directed the officials to make all possible arrangements to manage the gathering and to facilitate the faithful.

Shaista Amber, a social activist, said special arrangements had been made at Amber Masjid near SGPGI for both Shias and Sunnis . She said the management committee of the mosque had also made special arrangements for women to offer namaaz on Eid .
