MOBILE PHONE TRADER SHOT DEAD IN CITY
LUCKNOW : A mobile phone trader was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Carriage and Wagon workshop in Alambagh area when he was returning home late on Sunday night. The deceased, Karan Gupta, 21, had a mobile shop named RK Enterprises at the Galaxy Hotel in Naka Hindola area. Family members of the deceased have accused another mobile trader, Ram Chander Gupta, of hatching the murder conspiracy.
LUCKNOW: A mobile phone trader was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Carriage and Wagon workshop in Alambagh area when he was returning home late on Sunday night.
The deceased, Karan Gupta, 21, had a mobile shop named RK Enterprises at the Galaxy Hotel in Naka Hindola area.
Family members of the deceased have accused another mobile trader, Ram Chander Gupta, of hatching the murder conspiracy. Arjun Gupta, brother of the deceased, has alleged that his brother had a long-standing financial dispute with Ram Chander.
According to reports, Karan was returning to his home in Vikram Nagar under Para police station after closing his shop late on Sunday night. He was on his scooter and when he reached near the Carriage and Wagon workshop of the Railways in Alambagh, some unidentified assailants opened fire on him.
After getting information, the police rushed Karan to the Trauma Centre, KGMU, where he died during the course of treatment. “A case of murder has been lodged against unidentified persons. A probe is on and assailants will be arrested soon,” said Arun Kumar Mishra, station officer, Alambagh police station.
