It has been ranked A+ in the Business India B-School Survey as well as ranked among the top Shining B-Schools of India by CNN-IBN.

The School of Business is where new knowledge and opportunities for students, faculty and organisations is created in the most dynamic way. The School provides new age business education where academically and professionally qualified faculty engage and prepare students for the rapidly evolving world of business, with a distinct focus on grooming leadership through Innovation, Execution and Social Responsibility.

The School has earned a reputation for academic excellence in providing practical and quality academic programmes in the field of Management. Its undergraduate and postgraduate Business Administration programmes (BBA, MBA) are revamped every year after a rigorous process of taking inputs from industry experts and renowned academicians. The curriculum caters to the latest needs of the industry. The MBA programme for instance, offers dual specialisation from a pool of specialisations that include Operations, HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, IB and Business Analytics. A team of experienced world-class faculty and pool of industry experts are the driving force behind the School’s up-tothe-minute knowledge base.

The School of Business also offers students the unparalleled opportunity of learning through tie-ups with Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany and the Rennes School of Business, France. Its ultra modern facilities which include centrally airconditioned buildings and classrooms, a fully Wi-fi environment, state-of-the-art computer labs, well-equipped libraries, on-campus cafeterias and sports facilities – make for an all-encompassing learning experience.

The classes at the School of Business incorporate lectures, tutorials, seminars, presentations, intensive workshops and project-based learning as part of the teaching methodology. Through the flexible Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), students are better able to take advantage of diverse educational offerings and enhance their thinking quotient while simultaneously pursuing their own primary and secondary academic interests. Learning business in a truly global environment through interdisciplinary case studies based on Harvard Business School Case Studies gives students that extra edge during their careers.

The School works on the concept of Outcome-based Education, through which the faculty is able to structure their teaching around a student’s needs. Various teaching and assessment techniques are used during classes that are in sync with the diversity of the School’s students. This is a significant feature of the curriculum design in all the programmes offered by the School.

Besides classroom teaching, students are also exposed to online learning by offering them NPTEL, Swayam courses. The School has been among the first to adopt the ‘flipped classroom’ approach, where students are encouraged to access and internalise lectures and lecture material through online or on-campus library delivery and use class time for collaborative peerto-peer learning.

Research is a critical component in all the School’s programmes. Today’s business needs constant monitoring and a huge amount of research. The School of Business’s experienced faculty is well-known for its research. Several global journals and publications regularly carry evidence of the work put in by the faculty.

To make students employable, the gap between theory and practice is narrowed through on-campus and on-site interactions with corporate leaders. In fact, students get numerous interaction windows through guest lectures, project work, seminars, industrial site visits and summer internships. This gives the School an edge over others in the segment – which is why it enjoys a great reputation for its top placements across diverse sectors.

Industry has responded very positively to the quality education imparted by the School and placements stand at 100% with each student receiving multiple offers and excellent packages. The School has also established a long and healthy relationship with some of the biggest names in business like Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group, BMW, Airtel, Citibank, HCL, Jaro Education, ICICI, among many others.

Today, the School of Business is the proud alma mater of thousands of professionals - in the key business functions of Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance and more – all of whom are serving in leadership positions across reputed organisations.
