ENDORSEMENT DEALS
Lionel Messi
ADIDAS
In 2017, Messi signed a lifetime contract with Adidas, the value of which is yet to be revealed. Some of his other endorsements include Gatorade, Tata Motors and Huawei Technologies.
Lebron James
NIKE
At the end of 2015, LeBron James signed a lifetime contract with Nike. Though the exact terms of the deal were never reported, the deal is pegged upwards of $1 billion.
James Harden
ADIDAS
In August 2015, James
Harden, an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets, agreed to a deal with Adidas worth a combined $200 million over 13 years.
Kevin Durant
NIKE
In September 2014, Kevin Durant signed a 10-year contract with Nike. The deal has the potential to reach $300 million and includes a $50 million retirement package. Nike, whose seven-year deal that guaranteed Durant $60 million was expiring,
made an offer of about $20 million a year but that was far from what Durant was looking for.
Stephen Curry
UNDER ARMOUR
At the end of 2013, Curry signed for Under Armour in a deal worth just under $4 million per year. In September 2015, he extended his deal with the brand to carry him through the 2024 season.
Curry is invaluable to
Under Armour because the brand has trademarked phrases associated solely with the basketball star. CBS Sports said Curry might be worth up to $14.1bn to Under Armour.
Derrick Rose
ADIDAS
In 2012, Adidas made a major money move by inking NBA point guard Derrick Rose to a 14-year, $185 million deal. The deal called for annual retainers of $12 million per season from 2012–13 until ’16–17. (This season, he is entitled to $11 million). It also included annual royalties of up to $6.25 million per year, as much as $4.8 million in annual appearance fees and use of a private plane.
Kobe Bryant

Bryant signed a four-year, $40 million deal with Nike, a leading athletic apparel company in June 2003 after being wooed away
from Adidas. His signature Nike shoe racked up $105 million in sales in 2014.
Neymar
NIKE
Soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior — better known as Neymar signed an 11-year deal with Nike in 2011 for an estimated
9.5 million euros — about $10.2 million — per year.
David Beckham
ADIDAS
Adidas is David Beckham’s largest endorsement deal. He signed a lifetime agreement with them worth $160.8m in 2003.
