ABVP ORGANISES CAMPS ON LU CAMPUS TO ADDRESS STUDENTS’ PROBLEMS

-

LUCKNOW : The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday organised special camps on Lucknow University campus where around 550 students submitted their complaints.

The ABVP accused the LU administration of harassing genuine students, after the July 4 violence on the campus.

They also alleged that the LU administration was turning a blind eye towards students’ problems.

Rahul Valmik, state secretary, ABVP, stated that if the university administration fails to address students’ problems, the issue will be raised before Governor Ram Naik, who is chancellor of the university.

“After the July 4 incident, the university administration has started harassing even genuine students who have nothing to do with the incident,” said Valmik.

STUDENTS’ CONVENTION

Student leaders of various universities will assemble in Lucknow on July 20 to take part in a students’ convention organised in support of Lucknow University students.
