The district administration conducted the final rehearsal on Friday. Senior officials from the administration, along with BJP workers, looked into various aspects of preparations of the rally. “We have divided the rally ground into various sectors and appointed sector magistrates for each of them. These officials have been told about their respective duties,” said Amrit Tripathi, district magistrate (DM), Shahjahanpur.
The PM will land at Trishul airbase in Bareilly in his official plane. From there he will take an air force chopper to reach rally ground in Shahjahanpur, which is 90 kilometers away.
UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to accompany the PM from Bareilly to Shahjahanpur. According to local BJP leaders over two lakh supporters from Shahjahanpur and nearby districts are expected to attend the rally. “We have arranged for the transportation of supporters from nearby districts,” said union labour minister and BJP MP from Bareilly Santosh Gangwar.
