Day 1: Modi also expected to address mayors and meet beneficiaries of PMAY
LUCKNOW: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stay time in Lucknow would be around 4 hours and 30 minutes during the ground-breaking ceremony here on July 28 and 29.
As per the latest schedule, the PM would reach Amausi airport at 4:40 pm on July 28. Thereafter, his convoy would leave for IGP and reach there at 5pm for the programme on day one.
On the day, the PM is also expected to address the mayors and meet 15 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. Officials said his speech would also be telecast live in five other districts.
Modi would leave the venue at 6:30pm to reach the airport, from where his flight is scheduled for Delhi at 7pm.

On July 29, the Prime Minister would reach Amausi at 11:30am and leave for IGP.
He would reach IGP at around 12 noon to attend ground-breaking ceremony that would have a gathering of around 1,500 people, including 75 industrialists.
Modi would leave for the airport at 1:15pm and then leave for Delhi at 1:45pm.
District magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma on Thursday reviewed the preparations at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan (IGP), the venue for the event, and directed all departments and administrative officials to be on their toes.
He directed government departments including nagar nigam, ARTO, health, traffic police and administrative officials to remain on their toes and assigned duties.
“SP (traffic) has been directed to ensure proper traffic diversions during the PM’s visit. It would also be ensured that no patient at Lohia Hospital gets affected due to the diversions,” he said.
Besides, LMRC has been directed not to undertake any construction work near the airport, at least for these two days while the electricity department has been directed to ensure regular power supply, he said.
The district administration also directed NHAI, PWD and LDA to ensure cleanliness and check water-logging on the roads at the time of the PM’s visit.
On security arrangements, he said the departments concerned have been asked to issue safety certificate by July 27 itself.
“SPG, police and gate personnel would take control at the gates and only pass-bearers would be allowed to enter the premises. Those carrying the golden pass would be allowed to enter from gate no. 2. The PM’s entry would be from gate no. 3 and others would be allowed to enter from gate no. 1,” said the district magistrate.
