Rajbhar to BJP MLA: First, you have 5 kids
VARANASI: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party president and UP cabinet minister Omprakash Rajbhar on Friday said BJP MLA from Bairia in Ballia Surendra Singh, who advised Hindus to have at least five children, should do the same first.
Singh had on Thursday said Hindu couples should have at least five children to save Hindutva or else a situation similar to that of J&K would prevail in the country after 50 years.
“Children are the ‘prasad’ (gift) of God. I appeal to every Hindu couple to have at least five children to preserve Hindutva. India can become strong when Hindus are strong. When Hindu is weak, India is weak,” Singh had said. Rajbhar targeted the state government saying that his party was being ignored. “I don’t ask for licence of crushers and mining. I want medicines for the poor. I want consolidation in the areas where it hadn’t happened. I am fighting for the rights of poor,” he said adding, “Only those work are being carried out that are related to BJP people.”
“I am first the president of the SBSP and then a minister in the UP government. I have become a minister because of hard work done by my party workers. I will keep working for them. For the political parties, farmers are just an issue. But we are very serious for the farmers and want to boost their income,” Rajbhar said.
He also coined a new slogan: ‘Jo kisan ka kaam karega, wo Dilli par raaj karega’ (The one who works for the farmer will rise to power in New Delhi).
He said the Congress, SP and the BSP didn’t do anything for the farmers during their respective rules.
