CM ANNOUNCES AWARD FOR WINNERS
LUCKNOW : CM Yogi Adityanath congratulated Saurabh Chaudhary for winning a gold medal in the 10 metre air pistol competition and announced a cash award of ₹50 lakh for him. The CM extended his greetings to Ravi Kumar, also a Meerut resident, for winning a bronze medal in the 10 metre air rifle mixed team competition. A reward of ₹20 lakh has also been announced for Ravi Kumar. The CM also congratulated Muzaffarnagar’s Divya Kakran for winning bronze in 68 km freestyle wrestling and said she will be given cash prize and a gazetted officer job in the state government.
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated shooters Saurabh Chaudhary and Ravi Kumar of Meerut for winning medals at the ongoing Asian Games.
He announced cash rewards of ₹50 lakh for Chaudhary, who produced an Asian Games record score of 240.7 in the 10m air pistol event, and ₹20 lakh for Kumar, who clinched a bronze in the 10m air rifle mixed team event.
The government will also give them gazetted jobs, Adityanath was quoted as saying in a statement.

The CM said both the sportspersons, with their hard work and dedication, have performed exceedingly well at the Asian Games and brought laurels to the state and the country.
UP sports minister Chetan Chauhan also greeted Kumar and Chaudhary on their commendable feat, adding that they had shown the way to young and spirited sportspersons to perform well in competitions.
