MANU BHAKER

She is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup. At 16, she won gold in women’s 10m air pistol event at this year’s Commonweal­th Games.

SACHIN TENDULKAR

He made his Test debut in November 1989, at the age of sixteen. He went on to become India’s highest run-scorer in Tests (15,921) and ODIs (18,426).

SAURABH CHAUDHARY

Competing in his first senior event, he showed great mental strength to claim gold in the 10m air pistol finals at the Asian Games 2018. In the process, he became only the fifth India shooter to win gold in the Asian Games history.

He is the second youngest person ever to achieve the title of a chess Grandmaste­r at 12 years, 10 months and 13 days. He won the World Youth Chess Championsh­ips title in under-8 category in 2013 and the U-10 title in 2015

ANISH BHANWALA

He became the youngest Indian (15 years) to win a gold medal at the 2018 Commonweal­th Games. Bhanwala shot to glory in men’s 25m rapid fire pistol.

SAINA NEHWAL

At 16, she became the first Indian woman to win a Grand Prix event - Philippine­s Open in 2006. The same year she guided the team to mixed team bronze in Melbourne Commonweal­th Games.
