Sameer Verma is Gkp commissioner

LUCKNOW: The state government shifted on Thursday 12 IAS officers and appointed three new divisional commissioners and two district magistrates, according to officials sources.

Secretary, PWD, Sameer Verma has been made the new divisional commissioner of Gorakhpur replacing Anil Kumar (III), who has been shifted in the same capacity to Agra. Secretary, Backward Welfare Department, Anil Kumar Sagar has been appointed divisional commissioner of Basti.

Secretary, Urban Development, Ranveer Prasad has been asked to take over as divisional commissioner of Bareilly.

Anurad Yadav, who was waitlisted, has been made secretary Urban Development.

Ranjan Kumar, who returned from foreign training, has been made secretary PWD.

Managing director of UP Small Scale Industries, Kanpur Hira Lal has been made district magistrate Banda in place of Divya Prakash Giri, who has been shifted to minority welfare department as special secretary.

Chief development officer, Kanpur (rural), has been made MD of UP Small Scale Industries. Chief operating officer of Khadi and Gramudyog Board Avinash Krishna will be the new DM of Sambhal. Mission Director of National Rural Ajivika Mission, Sujit Kumar has been made member (judicial) Revenue Board and additional consolidation commissioner in Revenue Department.
