Man chops off genitals of daughter’s boyfriend

GORAKHPUR : A man chopped off the genitals of his daughter’s boyfriend after finding him in an intimate position with her at Mahua Dabar village in Gorakhpur’s Khajni police station area late on Monday night, police said on Tuesday. The 20-year-old youth was also confined in a room and assaulted, police said.

GORAKHPUR: A man chopped off the genitals of his daughter’s boyfriend after finding him in an intimate position with her at Mahua Dabar village in Gorakhpur’s Khajni police station area late on Monday night, police said on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old youth was also confined in a room and assaulted before his genitals were cut off, police said. Both the youth and his girlfriend are class 11 students of separate schools. Scissors were used in the crime, police said.

After the incident, the youth was admitted to the Baba Raghav Das Medical College in Gorakhpur in a serious condition, the police said. The police have nabbed the 19-year-old woman’s father.

Satya Prakash, station house officer of Khajni police station, said, “Locals found the victim crying in pain and bleeding profusely. They informed the police.”

The young woman’s father was booked under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 326 (causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon) of the Indian Penal Code on the basis of a complaint by the youth’s family, the SHO said. The youth had befriended the woman sometime ago and both used to talk over the mobile phone for a long time daily.Local people said her father opposed their relationship and warned the youth many times not to meet his daughter.

On Monday, when both were in an intimate position, the woman’s father burst into the room with his son chopped off the genitals with scissors, police said.
