Now, barricadefree traffic in Ganj
LUCKNOW: On the occasion of Dussehra, the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation has gifted hassle-free transportation from Mayfair to the district magistrate’s residence side and from Hussainganj to KKC.
The LMRC workers removed the barricades on Thursday while offering rosebuds to commuters.
Managing director, LMRC Kumar Keshav said, “To celebrate this milestone with Lucknowites, LMRC officials presented flowers to the public as a token of thanks and appreciation for their cooperation during the construction phase. The passersby also appreciated the LMRC’s quality work in this short span of time.”
Kumar Keshav said, “The construction of Lucknow Metro underground section in the heart of the city was only possible with the support and cooperation of the public and now it’s the time for Lucknow Metro to give convenience to public in this festive season. So we are reopening the roads which were barricaded during the construction phase.”
He added, “Besides this, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation is working to give a better transportation to Lucknowites which will make their journey relaxed and convenient.”
To note, a number of people, particularly school students, would benefit after the reopening of this road. Earlier, they had to spend a lot of time commuting due to traffic and diversions.
