‘₹86k cr deposited in 34 cr Jandhan a/cs’
GORAKHPUR : Over ₹86,000 crore were deposited in 34 crore Jandhan accounts and the fund was being used in economic progress of the country, Union minister of state for finance Shiv Pratap Shukla told bank employees while addressing a conclave of Punjab National Bank here on Sunday.
He, however, didn't elaborate on whether the sum was deposited in bank accounts after the 2016 demonetisation move by the BJP government.
